The ice recently came off some of our rivers and the fishing has really turned on. I had the opportunity to chuck streamers yesterday (3/29/12) and had a blast. It was non-stop action for 3 solid hours. Fish were chasing from several feet away, and sometimes two fish would crash the streamer together. This was a nice brown that measured 19.5 inches. He really whacked the streamer. It was another great day to be out there field testing the new Orvis rod. I fished without a jacket in the afternoon. Is this really March?
