It’s hard to imagine that this is winter. Dave and I fished the Taylor River C&R section on December 30th, and normally you can expect sub-zero temperatures with an annoying wind. We arrived around 11:30 AM and it was sunny and 37 degrees with no wind. The wind came later and cooled things off, but it was still a nice day and nothing like a “normal” late December day at the C&R. It’s been a strange winter so far, and we’re all wondering when the cold and snow will come. My guess is that we will get hit in January. There is still plenty of time for the snow to fall.
