Taylor Canyon

The Taylor River continues to fish well during the warm part of the afternoon. I actually saw some fish rising to midges recently. I caught this very pretty 19-inch brown on January 4th, on a baetis emerger pattern trailed behind an egg. Lots of browns are taking the egg, but about half the fish are taking small nymphs and midges. Still waiting for the snow!
