This year was a real challenge with low, crystal clear water. You had to really work for the fish. We landed some nice fish though, including some real nice browns on the Beaverkill. The tail of Hendrickson's Pool is fast becoming one of our favorite spots on this river. We also discovered some great spots on the West Branch of the Delaware. Can't wait to get back there. I had a really good week on the West Branch and the Beaverkill. Jimmer had a tough time of it, but he landed a beauty on the last day. Hector came up on Friday to fish for the day. Lots of laughs as usual but not much fish this year. We fished the Willowemoc, but it was really low and very clear. We saw some nice fish, but they saw us first. Hector stalked a monster brown for a while, but old Walter was on to us and we had to give up. I think we'll do better in June if the water levels and temperatures hold up.
