Trout Unlimited
TU is dedicated to conservation and protecting the waters we all love to fish, or at least dream about fishing some day. Every fly fisher on the planet should join and support this organization.

Federation of Fly Fishers
This is another organization well worth joining and supporting. They have many chapters in the US. They do a lot of great work in the area of education, as well as conservation.

Willowfly Anglers
Willowfly Anglers is a full-service fly shop and Orvis Endorsed Guide Service located at Three Rivers Resort in Almont, Colorado. The resort and shop are at 8,000 feet in the Rockies, at the gateway to the Taylor Canyon - where the Taylor River merges with the East River to form the Gunnison River. (I manage the fly shop and guide service.) The resort offers lodge rooms and cabins on the river, with excellent fly fishing and rafting on our local rivers. Visit the web site for details and come visit us soon!

Delaware River Foundation
The DRF is a coalition of anglers, citizens, towns, and conservation groups which have joined forces to improve the habitat and water flow rates in the Upper Delaware River and its tributaries. They work very hard to increase flows and maintain minimum levels for the East and West Branch of the Delaware, and the Neversink. This is a huge task, and the situation must be constantly monitored. There is a lot of history here. To learn more about the challenges the DRF and these rivers face, and how you can help, please check out their web site.

Friends of the Upper Delaware River
FUDR is another great organization working hard to protect the Upper Delaware wild trout fishery. Click on the link for details about FUDR and their mission.

The West Branch Angler
This is where we stay on the West Branch of the Delaware River. The WBA is a great place to stay and fish, and also a great place to get a nice dinner. They have hatch charts and river updates on their site as well.

Delaware River Club
This is Al Caucci's place and his web site. Excellent resource for fishing the Delaware in the Hancock, NY area. Lots of information on the rivers and the hatches from an expert hatch-matcher.

Catskill Flies
If you're ever in Roscoe, NY, be sure to stop in and visit Dennis. It's always an enjoyable experience. He has a really good web site here, which includes excellent stream reports for the Beaverkill and the Delaware.

Rob's Realistic Flies
The is the web site of Rob Lewis. Rob is a professional fly tier, guide, and instructor in New York. He guides on famous Catskill streams like the Beaverkill and the Willowemoc, and also travels to several fly fishing destinations each year. Rob's flies are his own creations which have been developed with one main goal in mind...and that is simply to catch fish. In recent years, Rob has been featured in several major fly fishing magazines. Rob is passionate about what he does, and you would be hard pressed to find someone more enthusiastic about fly fishing.

The Outdoorsman
Fly fishing instruction and guiding, and custom built cane rods for over 20 years. Hank and Marcia Woolman conduct The Outdoorsman Fly Fishing School near Middleburg, Virginia, and guide in Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Yellowstone Park. Together they have over 75 years of fly fishing experience and over 40 years of teaching experience. They are dedicated environmentalists and have been very actively involved in helping to protect Virginia's native brook trout for years. I couldn't possibly say enough about their conservation work and their dedication to the protection of our coldwater resources. Please visit their web site to learn more.

Rhea Topping's Mayfly Adventures
Rhea is a Federation of Fly Fishers (FFF) Master Certified Instructor. She runs her Mayfly Adventures fly fishing school out of Upperville, Virginia, throughout the year, covering everything from casting to entomology. Visit Rhea's web site to learn more about her, her schools, and also the fishing trips she organizes each year.

Streams & Dreams
Streams & Dreams is a B&B retreat which sits on 15 beautiful acres, on the Youghiogheny River in Western Maryland, near Deep Creek. Don and his wife Karen are excellent hosts, and will make you feel very welcome. Don also offers fly fishing instruction and is extremely knowledgeable about the rivers and their hatches. So if you're headed to Garrett County for some great fly fishing, check out Streams & Dreams for a unique B&B experience.

Richard Stone Fine Furniture
You're probably wondering why there is a link to a furniture web site here. Richard is a friend who builds beautiful custom handcrafted furniture. He designed and built a solid oak rod rack for me, which now holds my fly rods, tubes, and gear. If you're looking for a central place to store your gear, and you want a nice piece of furniture custom-built for you, you'll want to check this out. Click here to see some photos.

Fly Tying World
Lots of information here if you're into tying your own flies. All the great tiers are listed here, along with their fly recipes.
