The photo gallery includes images from our local rivers and client fishing trips here in the Gunnison Valley. There is a variety of water to fish, from small creeks to the big rivers like the Gunnison River. The fishing here is excellent. You can enjoy chasing browns, rainbows, cutthroat, cutbows, and brookies all season long. And we have our famous kokanee salmon run during late summer and fall. All fish are handled with care and released unharmed. The practice of catch and release fly fishing helps preserve our fisheries. Catch and release is required for all guided fishing trips.

I caught this big brown up in the Taylor River Canyon
on November 10, 2011.
It measured 25 inches long with a 14-inch girth. Though not caught in the
trophy trout water below the dam, but several miles farther down in the
canyon, it is indeed a trophy. This was my fish of the year for 2011.
