Riffle and Rise offers guided walk/wade fly fishing trips and instruction on private water in the Colorado Rockies. The focus is on providing a quality experience in a beautiful setting where anglers can learn about fly fishing.
For those interested in gaining a more in-depth knowledge of fly fishing, there is additional emphasis on instruction both on and off the river. From casting to rigging, reading the water, matching the hatch, and learning specialized tactics such as Euro Nymphing, the experience is customized to meet your needs. The more you learn about fly fishing, the more self-sufficient you will be on the water.
All guided trips are walk/wade trips, which last about 4 to 5 hours. They are focused on the prime part of the day with the most insect and fish activity. During the summer season, this is typically from around 10 AM to 3 PM or 11 AM to 4 PM. Conditions will vary, so the times can be adjusted accordingly. Availability is very limited and advance reservations are required. (Rates listed below do not include private water access fees, which vary based on the river fished.)
